Before your first visit

Your first visit is not only about our team getting to know you, but also about you getting to know our team. In the time we spend together, we encourage you to ask questions, express your concerns, and share with us anything you want us to know to help make your care as individual as you are.

• Part of getting to know you and providing safe, personalized dentistry involves reviewing your medical history. Come prepared with information about your current medications and allergies, any pending surgeries or major medical procedures, and a complete history of your medical problems. 

• Next, a comprehensive oral exam of your teeth, gums, mouth, and jaw will be performed, including a non-invasive oral cancer screening. 

• If you haven't had any x-rays taken recently or cannot make them available from another dental office,  a digital full-mouth series of x-rays will be taken. We may also take digital scans of your mouth and photographs. We will also discuss any dental history or concerns you may have. 

• From this information, we will make diagnoses  to share with you.

• Once your entire exam is completed, our doctors will talk with you about their findings in terms you can understand. Together, you can create a  treatment plan to address your dental needs. 

• Our doctors and staff will help you prioritize your treatments to give you the smile you desire in a timeframe you can afford. We will  provide a complete financial estimate for your review, with insurance estimates if available. For more info about financing and insurance, click here.
